Privacy policy

Last updated: October 27, 2026

This policy explains how Alma Milano handles your personal data when you visit our website, place an order or contact us.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Alma Milano (sole proprietorship), Mainelaan 34, 5627 VE Eindhoven, The Netherlands, KVK 96378204, VAT NL005206666B03. Email: AlmaMilano.official@outlook.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Order and contact details: name, delivery and billing address, email address, and any phone number you enter at checkout.
  • Payment information: payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive confirmation of your payment, not your full card details.
  • Messages: what you send us when you contact customer service.
  • Website and device data: IP address, browser and device information, pages you view and products you add to your cart, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use your data and on what basis

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and refunds, and keep in touch about your order (necessary for the agreement with you).
  • To answer your questions and complaints (our legitimate interest and the agreement with you).
  • To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the website secure (our legitimate interest).
  • To measure how the website is used and to show relevant advertising, for example with the Meta Pixel (only with your consent where required).
  • To send marketing emails (only if you have signed up or given consent, and you can unsubscribe at any time).

4. Who we share data with

We only share data that is needed. This includes: Shopify (our webshop platform and hosting), our payment provider, suppliers and fulfilment partners who prepare your order, carriers who deliver it, and advertising and analytics providers such as Meta. These parties receive your data for their service to us or, where they are responsible themselves, under their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the website work, to measure use, and to advertise. Where required, we ask for your consent through the cookie banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Marketing and analytics tools, such as the Meta Pixel, only run if you have given consent where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some of the parties mentioned above, such as our suppliers, may be located outside the European Economic Area. In that case we make sure there is an appropriate safeguard, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision, where the law requires it.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep order and invoice data for as long as the law requires, which is 7 years for the Dutch tax administration. Other data, such as customer service messages, is kept for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for and then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, and to receive your data in a portable format. If we use your data based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time. To use your rights, email us at AlmaMilano.official@outlook.com. We may ask you to verify your identity first.

9. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or to the data protection authority in your own country.

10. Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
